I built this studio around the way I like to work.
After years of photographing families, children, professionals, and brands, I knew what I wanted in a studio.
I kept asking myself:
What would make this feel easier?
The answers turned into this room: space to move, good natural light, a comfortable spot to talk before a session, a private changing area, a makeup station, and coffee waiting.
The Space
One of my favorite features is a custom set of two movable walls.
Together, they create one architectural backdrop with three arches.
Separate them and you can change the backdrop in a few minutes, with several looks available in the same room.
Some days the studio is filled with children laughing.
Some days it’s completely quiet except for the sound of Lightroom exporting photographs.
I love both.
